Table for One

A table for one
Is almost a taboo
But why should one wait
For Prince Charming to pick their shoe

Only those who’ve never gone solo
Think of it as “Shame, Shame”
But the experience of dining alone
Can absolutely change the game

Not once, not twice
I’ve eaten alone plenty of times
A pizza to yourself
Can make your face glow and your heart chime

But a table for one
Isn’t a beauty in a cafe alone
Even living solo can be meditative
So dance to your rhythm in your own zone

So next time someone mocks you
For enjoying your solitude
Let them perish in their stupidity
And soak in your good mood
