Having a difficult conversation

A look, stare
It doesn’t have to be words
Drop a hint to begin with
Don’t house internal blizzards

If that doesn’t do the trick
Reach out to someone you trust
Don’t internalize that feeling
It will only cause it to rust

Seek advice, seek help
You’re not in it alone
Friends may give you ideas
Or guide you with the tone

Take that first step
Voice your concern
Don’t worry about the listener
They surely can discern

Don’t be shy or uncomfortable
It is better to be curt
If you drag the conversation
You will end up getting hurt

Own the conversation
Own it’s difficulty level
Once you’ve unburdened yourself
Find a way to revel
